Well, everyone knows about the break in Mahagatabandhan in Bihar yesterday! As a psychologist, when I analyse Bihar Chief Minister Mr. Nitish Kumar’s political behaviour, I feel it as worth calling Nitish Kumar Syndrome. Not because he is the first to do so, but he is a big name doing so!.
When we see Nitish Kumar’s political affiliations, in 1989 he backed Lalu Prasad! In 1996 he became part of NDA, served as Central Minister under Vajapayee government! He formed a government in 2005 in Bihar in coalition with BJP. When Narendra Modi was announced as Prime Minister candidate of NDA, he broke his alliance again and formed Grand Alliance with all those parties opposing BJP. After forming a government with RJD in Bihar in 2015, yesterday, i.e. on June 26th, he left it again! He formed the government again in coalition with BJP.
This is like; the person realises that the one with who he/she was was a better one that with whom they have come for an alliance!.This happens in relationships too. However, I feel Mr Nitish Kumar seems to be right example to explain how the mind works and it leads to our behaviour.
P.S: This is a write up which is written in a lighter note. However, you can observe the psychological aspect involved in it and consider it seriously.
